Rooms

The Mustard Seed Country house has 18 guest rooms. Thanks to the historic building and its characterful irregularities, each room is different in shape and feel but all are individually designed and decorated to create stylish spaces filled with uniqueness while combining modern facilities with old world charm. We carefully choose fabrics and wall coverings from our favourite designers like Zoffany, Colefax and Fowler, Sanderson, Jane Churchill and combine them with heritage hues and Victorian colours to create elegantly stylish and comfortable accommodation.

Some of our rooms are located in the main house complete with original Victorian character. The main staircase is the original, hand carved oak stairs with a gentle gradient. We do not have an elevator in keeping with the age of the house. However, we do have 2 rooms on the ground floor for our guests who prefer to stay downstairs. Other rooms are located in the school house wing which also has charm and character and just like in the main house, the rooms are filled with interesting books, personal pieces and quirky touches. The Mews Apartment is located in the courtyard, a short skip across from the house.
